Readme file for minority rights case law database This is a pilot database collecting minority-relevant (Roma in Slovakia and Hungary, and Hungarians in Slovakia) judicial decisions in a searchable and interlinked format. Source of the data: Hungarian court decisions: Slovakian court decisions: Translations used with software support (DeepL), with human oversight. Summaries (claim, procedural outcome, outcome, holding). The cases are listed from newest to oldest, by the date of the decision. The database is accessible in various formats (HTML, CVS, OpenDocument, PDF, Excel). Linking to individual entries is possible through referencing the date of the decision, adding the date in the format of eight digits (Date-Month-Year) after the URL and "#m", e.g.: Curia (supreme court), Hungary, judgment No. Pfv.IV.21.556/2019/22, 12.05.2020, The cases where selected manually from national case law databases (see links provided in the table, including related judgments, where available) and are provided here with algorithm-aided translations and summaries.
