Abstract
A koronavírus nemcsak az egészségügyi, az oktatási és a munkaerőpiaci folyamatokat befolyásolja, hanem a politikai kommunikáció eddig kevéssé feltárt aspektusaira is felhívja a figyelmet. A 2020-as év megmutatta, hogy a bizonytalan, tragédiákkal teli, válság sújtotta világban a politikától a jogalkotási, szervezői, irányítási munka, illetve az arról szóló tájékoztatás mellett életvezetési tanácsokat és megküzdési stratégiákra vonatkozó közléseket is várhatunk. A járvány egyrészt váratlanságával, másrészt ismeretlen kimenetelével, harmadrészt mindenkit érintő egyéni és kollektív következményeivel a nyilvánosság előtt megvallott szubjektív viszonyulások, illetve érzelmes reakciók kaleidoszkópját eredményezte. A politikai szereplők COVID-19-fertőzést és annak hatásait tárgyaló kommunikációja többféle feladatot lát el, így vizsgálata nem csak az információtartalom alapján lehetséges. Az adatgyűjtés ezek egyikét, az úgynevezett expresszív funkciót veszi alapul, mégpedig azért, hogy leírja a politikai érzelemszabályozás jellegzetességeit. Vizsgálatunkat a pandémia magyarországi történetének első és második hullámához kapcsoltuk, vagyis adataink a 2020. március 4-e és december 31-e közötti időszakból származnak. A hosszú adatfelvételi időszak nagyobb szövegmennyiséget eredményez, és lehetővé teszi az érzelemszabályozási kísérletek dinamikájának mérését. Az EXPRIMER – NKIFH FK 131990 projekt részeként keletkezett adatbázis a magyar politikai vezetők közösségimédia-kommunikációját és az online média COVID-19-cel kapcsolatos cikkeinek érzelemszabályozásra vonatkozó tartalmi elemeit tartalmazza. A vonatkozó metaadatokat (dátum, forrás) is közöljük. A gyűjteményhez két file – kódkönyv és adatbázis – tartozik. Az adatbázis tartalmazza a forráshoz vezető linkeket is.
The coronavirus not only affects healthcare, education and labor market processes, but also draws attention to aspects of political communication that have been little explored so far. The year 2020 has shown that in an uncertain world full of tragedies and crises, we can expect from politics, in addition to legislative, organizational and management work, as well as information about it, we can also expect life advice and communications about coping strategies. The epidemic, on the one hand, with its unexpectedness, on the other hand, with its unknown outcome, and, on the third hand, with its individual and collective consequences for everyone, resulted in a kaleidoscope of subjective attitudes and emotional reactions expressed in public. The communication of political actors discussing the COVID-19 infection and its effects fulfills several tasks, so its investigation is not only possible based on the information content. The data collection is based on one of these, the so-called expressive function, in order to describe the characteristics of political emotion regulation. We linked our study to the first and second waves of the pandemic in Hungary, that is, our data comes from the period between March 4 and December 31, 2020. The long data collection period results in a larger amount of text and enables the dynamics of emotion regulation experiments to be measured. The database created as part of the EXPRIMER – NKIFH FK 131990 project contains the social media communication of Hungarian political leaders and the emotional regulation content of online media articles related to COVID-19. We also provide the relevant metadata (date, source). The collection includes two files – a code book and a database. The database also contains links to the source.
